Tony Lorenz is founder of bXb Online - a leading marketing agency that delivers strategic solutions to global organizations seeking to extend brand, content, messaging and experiences online. Tony began his career in event marketing in 1988 with a boutique shop, and then founded ProActive in 1992 in the endeavor to develop an organization where experienced and talented individuals would thrive in the fulfillment of communication objectives of the world’s most respected brands.
In 2001, Tony co-founded with John Rowady, rEvolution, a premier sports marketing firm which now is comprised of over 50 people who drive value to a number of industry leading brands including Samsung, ESPN, Dyson and the NFL.
In April 2007, Tony sold ProActive to Freeman, an industry-leading exposition and exhibit producer. In July 2009, after taking responsibility for the rest of the Creative team at Freeman, he fully integrated ProActive into Freeman where he led Freeman's creative function.
Tony served as executive champion of an alliance between Freeman and Maritz, an alliance he originated with the President of Maritz in July of 2009. He serves on several industry and civic boards including Business Marketing Association, Children’s Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. He is an immediate past chair of the Marketing Taskforce of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
Tony holds a BS in Accounting from Indiana University. As a life long learner, Tony carries full alumni status with the Harvard Business School through its Owner President Management (OPM) program, a three year program crafted for successful entrepreneurs who have an objective to take their business to the next level.
Tony, his wife Terri and their daughters Katie and Emily reside in Wilmette, IL.
David Olender began his work with bXb Online in October 2011. In his role as a partner, Dave has been instrumental in preparing the company for the 2013 launch of the online b-to-b television network, BOBtv.biz.
Prior to bXb Online, Dave was with Gaylord Entertainment Company since October 2002. He held the position of Vice President, Sales and Administration for Gaylord Resort Hotels and Convention Centers. His responsibilities included the National Sales Office as well as brand-wide sales culture, process guidance and sales administration. While with Gaylord, Dave was also charged with managing the departments responsible for developing strategic business and marketing relationships as well as all of the sourcing and procurement across Gaylord Entertainment Company.
In addition to hospitality, David has twenty-plus years of management, sales and marketing experience covering retail, distribution, and manufacturing. That time was focused as a business development executive, in retail store development as well as distribution management.
David has also served the Professional Convention Management Association on the Educational Foundation governance, development, annual and planned giving committees as well as on the executive committee as secretary treasurer, chair elect and currently as the chair of the Board of Trustees. He also currently serves on the executive board of directors as immediate past chair of Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee and as the current chair of the Junior Achievement Legacy Board.
Prior to his education at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business Administration, he was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army.
Deb Greif joined bXb Online in September 2011 as Managing Director. In her role she manages, monitors and guides the work of the organization and serves as point of contact for customer relationships.
Prior to bXb Online, Deb was principal of DG Consulting, Inc. where she served as a consultant, independent contractor and project manager on a variety of physical and virtual events, and marketing and sales projects from conception through delivery. Work included product development, sales and marketing strategies, competitive and market research, and pricing and budgeting.
Notably in this role, Deb worked with Crain’s Chicago Business on the conception, development and delivery of their Health Care Provider Event Series launched in 2010, and Modern Healthcare, a national healthcare news provider, on marketing strategy and implementation.
Prior to DG Consulting, Inc., Deborah worked at Crain’s Chicago Business as Business Development Director and Advertising Sales Director, overseeing a wide range of projects in support of sales, marketing, production and final delivery of their print, event and digital products.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.

Alexa Anason is the Executive Assistant/Office Manager at bXb Online. Alexa is an active member of the Business Marketing Association - Chicago and volunteers on their Website Committee.
Alexa began her career in hospitality as an Executive Assistant and Sales Coordinator with A&M Hospitality in Michigan. In her role, Alexa was responsible for providing executive level support to the firm’s management team. She also served as the liaison to the firm’s outside business partners, assisted in an HR capacity and managed national and local sales accounts.
Alexa interned within the hospitality industry throughout college, gaining valuable knowledge in public relations, sales and marketing, human resources and event management with the Gansevoort Hotel Group and Lakelands Golf and Country Club.
An avid sports fan, Alexa had the opportunity to represent Michigan State University at numerous NCAA and B1G conference sporting events through the 2005-2009 football and basketball seasons in a leadership position.
Alexa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications & Hospitality Business from Michigan State University.
Terese brings a creative and effective approach to online presentation coaching. As an experienced and passionate communication consultant, she prepares bXb Online clients to deliver effective and engaging online presentations.
With experience in industrial and commercial acting, she is well versed in on-camera presentations. Terese has worked in the trade show environment and has a strong blend of professional experience. She holds a Communications degree from Purdue University, and has trained at Chicago's Act One Studios and The Second City Training Center.
Terese has coached presenters from an array of companies, including Interactive Intelligence, Young Innovations, Wells Fargo Advisors, Left Brain Right Brain Productions, Ovum, C.H. Robinson, and Walsh Construction.
Patrick is an extremely versatile producer and brings to bXb Online over 18 years of marketing, communications and production experience, specializing in video, print, digital and event production.

Utilizing the latest HD production and post-production tools, he delivers any format needed for broadcast, web or multimedia.

Gretchen Eckland is the Creative Director at bXb Online. She has developed and executed high-impact branding and creative strategies for a wide variety of b-2-b and b-2-c companies. These come to life across the full spectrum of communication vehicles, including websites, interactive video, iPad applications, environmental branding, advertising campaigns, guerilla marketing, print collateral, and live and online experiences.
Gretchen has had the pleasure to develop original branding for a wide range of companies, including Turtle Wax, Toyota Camry and Toyota Prius, Hitachi Medical Systems, Chicago Ideas Week, American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and of course, BOBtv.
She has extensive experience bringing multi-faceted creative campaigns to life at a variety of physical events, including RSNA,NADA, HIMSS, ASPS, Oracle OpenWorld, SAP Sapphire, GlobalShop, MinExpo and many more. Gretchen Kihm-Stegall joined the bXb Online Team of Experts in November 2011 to deliver the company’s public relations and marketing strategy.

Lauren Mulherrin joined bXb Online as Project Coordinator in January 2012. As an instrumental member of the team, she is responsible for account project assistance; coordination, consulting, on-site and online environment back-end support/moderation. Lauren also implements bXb Online's social media strategy and manages the bXb Online blog.
Lauren is an active member of the Business Marketing Association - Chicago and volunteers on their Website Committee. Prior to her start at bXb Online, Lauren has had the opportunity to intern for Freeman, Restaurant Associates at Harvard Business School, and the Langham Sydney (formerly the Observatory Hotel) in Sydney, Australia.
She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Administration from Boston University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Patrick J. (Pat) Mullen serves as a business consultant for several business ventures including bXb Online.
Mr. Mullen retired from the television broadcast business after a successful 32 year career. During his career, Mr. Mullen served as General Manager of Grand Rapids and Chicago based television stations and corporate executive roles within Tribune Broadcasting. Pat served as President of Tribune Broadcasting from 2001-2005 where he oversaw the operations of the Company’s 26 television stations, Tribune Entertainment, Superstation WGN and WGN-AM.
While active in the television industry, Pat served as an active board member for numerous industry organizations.
Mr. Mullen currently serves as the Chairman of the Long Range Planning Committee, Member of the Executive Committee and Board member of Chicago’s John G. Shedd Aquarium. Other activities have included Northwestern University Associates Board, and Board of Trustees of Aquinas College.
A native of Pentwater, Mich., born July 6, 1955, Mr. Mullen attended the University of Michigan, where he studied speech communications with a concentration in radio/television.
Chris Olsen is a highly acclaimed producer and director providing Emmy-winning creative direction, production and design for video, film, television, stage and stereoscopic 3D. He brings to bXb Online 20+ years of computer animation, gaming, and visual effects experience.
His work is specialized in video and film design, visual effects, stereoscopic 3D, and CGI and traditional animation, delivering powerful executive production around online and hybrid events.
Peter Wigren brings 16+ years of IT consulting, management and implementation to the bXb Online team of experts. He has consulted with a range of clients on business development initiatives, research & analysis, and software development. Combining his uncanny ability to identify digital trends with his extensive business experience, Peter defines the term "Digital Strategist."
Previously, Peter was co-owner and CIO of Shift Worldwide where he submerged himself in the world of streaming video, and successfully helped raise money for the webcast startup. During his time with Shift, he pioneered the implementation of a unique platform and production process for webcasts.
Peter has combined his software, webcast/online and strategic expertise into a consulting business, and blog, virtualexpert.com, where he advises clients like IBM on best practices in the space where software and streaming video intersect.
Peter currently serves on the board for the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, and brings a wealth of international experience due to his European background and having spent part of his career working and living there.
